ZD series reducer

If the ZD series reducer do not work for a long time and are left unused for a long time, they may become damp. When it is restarted, it is found that the insulation resistance of the deceleration motor winding decreases, especially during the rainy season when the air humidity is high, and its insulation value may even drop to zero. At this time, drying treatment should be carried out to make the insulation resistance and absorption ratio reach the specified values. If it is put into operation rashly, it may cause insulation breakdown of the deceleration motor coil and cause accidents. Here are several simple drying methods for deceleration motors:

ZD series reducer

1. External heat source heating method. For the ZD series reducer that is damp, first disassemble and inspect it, then use a high-power incandescent bulb to bake it inside the machine or place it in a drying room for drying.
2. Drying method for welding machines. Before using this method, connect the terminals of the damp winding in series and ground the casing, so that the three sets of windings can be heated and dried.
3. Drying method for excitation coil. The excitation coil is wound around the iron core of the motor stator coil, and AC power is introduced to generate magnetic flux in the stator, which is used to dry the stator based on its iron loss.
